I know the /options/ for co captain, I know who will probably take that title, I know who has distributed the qualities and worn the armband in Carra and Stevie's stead beforehand. What I'm saying is that it's hard for me to accept a Liverpool with Stevie, but without Carra. If that makes sense? It's hard for me to accept a captain/vice captain relationship in Liverpool that has Stevie but NOT Carra. I love and trust my boys, but I grew up on Carra/Stevie. I don't deal well with change.

#1 At one public school down in Texas, a 12-year-old girl named Sarah Bustamantes was recently arrested for spraying herself with perfume.

#2 A 13-year-old student at a school in Albuquerque, New Mexico was recently arrested by police for burping in class.

#3 Another student down in Albuquerque was forced to strip down to his underwear while five adults watched because he had $200 in his pocket. The student was never formally charged with doing anything wrong.

#4 A security guard at one school in California broke the arm of a 16-year-old girl because she left some crumbs on the floor after cleaning up some cake that she had spilled.

#5 One teenage couple down in Houston poured milk on each other during a squabble while they were breaking up. Instead of being sent to see the principal, they were arrested and sent to court.

#6 In early 2010, a 12-year-old girl at a school in Forest Hills, New York was arrested by police and marched out of her school in handcuffs just because she doodled on her desk. “I love my friends Abby and Faith” was what she reportedly scribbled on her desk.

#7 A 6-year-old girl down in Florida was handcuffed and sent to a mental facility after throwing temper tantrums at her elementary school.

#8 One student down in Texas was reportedly arrested by police for throwing paper airplanes in class.

#9 A 17-year-old honor student in North Carolina named Ashley Smithwick accidentally took her father’s lunch with her to school. It contained a small paring knife which he would use to slice up apples. So what happened to this standout student when the school discovered this? The school suspended her for the rest of the year and the police charged her with a misdemeanor.

#10 In Allentown, Pennsylvania a 14-year-old girl was tasered in the groin area by a school security officer even though she had put up her hands in the air to surrender.

#11 Down in Florida, an 11-year-old student was arrested, thrown in jail and charged with a third-degree felony for bringing a plastic butter knife to school.

#12 Back in 2009, an 8-year-old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.

#13 A police officer in San Mateo, California blasted a 7-year-old special education student in the face with pepper spray because he would not quit climbing on the furniture.

#14 In America today, even 5-year-old children are treated brutally by police. The following is from a recent article that described what happened to one very young student in Stockton, California a while back….

“Earlier this year, a Stockton student was handcuffed with zip ties on his hands and feet, forced to go to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and was charged with battery on a police officer. That student was 5 years old”.

#15 At one school in Connecticut, a 17-year-old boy was thrown to the floor and tasered five times because he was yelling at a cafeteria worker.

#16 A teenager in suburban Dallas was forced to take on a part-time job after being ticketed for using foul language in one high school classroom. The original ticket was for $340, but additional fees have raised the total bill to $637.

#17 A few months ago, police were called out when a little girl kissed a little boy during a physical education class at an elementary school down in Florida.

#18 A 6-year-old boy was recently charged with sexual battery for some “inappropriate touching” during a game of tag at one elementary school in the San Francisco area.

#19 In Massachusetts, police were recently sent out to collect an overdue library book from a 5-year-old girl.

In effect yes, but it should also be realized that what happened in Istanbul WAS a miracle. coming back from 3-0 in football in one half is nearly undeard of. In hockey it’s pretty common. As soon as a team gains momentum in hockey, like in football, their chances of scoring are obviously greater. The difference is hockey is way more fast paced. My colleges team this past season was down 3-0 to St. Lawrence, our long time rivals with 12 minutes left in the third. The first goal was scored at 12:03 in the period, and we ended up taking the game to OT and tieing the at home.

I’m not saying the Bruins didn’t pull off an insane comeback, but Istanbul was an incredible miracle. I mean vome on, Jesus…erm…Stevie was on the field.

Also, a two goal lead is the most dangerous lead there is in hockey. With 1 goal you are still on edge, with three you have some kind of a buffer where if a goal is scored you can buckle down and hold them off. But with two goals you get complacent. You act like you do with a three goal lead but as soon as 1 goal is scored against you the other team is right back in the game, and now they have the momentum.

This is actually kind of really offensive. Those soldiers don’t enjoy their jobs. They don’t get cushy work settings, paid sick days, holidays, or even vacations really. They work their asses off all day, and don’t have a choice in working overtime. They show up to work sick, and put in sixteen hours if their CO says they have to. They don’t get to shower every day, or put on clean clothes, or drive their ritzy cars two blocks to an office building wearing their man (or lady) perfume and stand in an elevator for ten seconds to waltz into their fifteenth floor office with their shiny leather shoes and and briefcases and get paid to read papers and talk on the phone. They’re lucky if they get to shower once a month, and even luckier if they get that shower AND can talk on the phone once a month too. They work in 115 degree heat carrying over 100 lbs of body armor, weapons and such on their backs, not in an air-conditioned work place. They don’t get their Starbucks or Caribou and don’t to go to fancy restaurants or even drive-thru’s. They eat the same thing every day. These men and women sacrifice their lives for us everyday and all I see are people attacking them. Let me tell you something else: they do as they’re told. If they kill civilians, it was an order or an accident. Trace your way up the chain of command mother fuckers, it leads from Private to Sergeant to General to the Pentagon to the White House itself. So next time you want to pick on the troops, remember this: if you don’t like the job they’re doing, go do it yourself. I can garuntee you you couldn’t do a better job. These men and women come home broken, and when they come home we shun them, we mock them, we hurt them more. We take out Washington’s mistakes on the men and women told to make them. Show some respect people, if you don’t like our foreign war policies, vote the motherfuckers that vote in favor of that shit out. Thank you for your time.

People volunteer to be murderers and you want me to be sympathetic if they come home broken for volunteering to be a murderer. I disagree with a lot of what WTFIF and the OP say here, I’m reblogging because every American should read Howard Zinn’s history of the American People. I read it my junior year in high school for an AP US History class and besides the teacher for that class being a total badass not afraid to say FUCK YOU AMERICA AND YOUR SYSTEM, the book was one of the most eye opening things I have ever read.
